Bengaluru: RV Institute of Management is set to host “Venture Fest 6.0, 2k24,” a unique festival showcasing student-created ventures, on September 27th and 28th, 2024, at its Jayanagar campus. This annual event aims to encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial attitude and mindset while gaining insights into the challenges of being an entrepreneur. The fest is designed to offer students practical experience in running a venture, allowing them to present their innovative ideas and products to the public.
The theme for this year’s event is “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle,” reflecting a focus on sustainability and environmental consciousness. The students will exhibit a wide variety of eco-friendly products that align with this theme.
Some of the featured products include:
- Innovative Products: Bamboo mugs and terracotta pottery that combine creativity with eco-conscious materials.
- Eco-Friendly Wares: Unique items such as kitchen wares, wooden toys, jute dreamcatchers, and canvas tote bags, all promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
- Sustainable Fashion: Beautiful, eco-conscious fashion pieces like cotton shirts, Kalakari bags, and accessories made from natural and recycled materials.
- Green Lifestyle Products: Organic fruit juices, millet noodles, and personal hygiene products will be available for those looking to embrace a greener lifestyle.
- Handcrafted Decor: Products like recycled plastic items, seashell creations, candles from beeswax and soya wax, and incense sticks made from waste materials, showcasing students' efforts to promote sustainable living.
The event will offer students a platform to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills while promoting sustainability, aligning with the global movement towards greener and more eco-friendly business practices.
