Bengaluru police detain Devaraj, Pavitra Gowda's manager, as investigation expands
Bengaluru: Police have made another arrest in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, bringing the total number of arrests to 17. The latest suspect taken into custody is Devaraj, the manager associated with actor Darshan's girlfriend, Pavitra Gowda, who is a prime accused in the case.
Devaraj was apprehended late last night on Mysore Road and is currently being interrogated by authorities. Sources reveal that Devaraj was present at the site where Renukaswamy was fatally attacked, allegedly accompanied by Pavitra on the day of the incident.
Simultaneously, police conducted a search at Pavitra Gowda's residence. It is alleged that after assaulting Renukaswamy, Pavitra immediately returned home. Reports suggest Pavitra was the first to physically confront Renukaswamy, who subsequently fell at her feet and offered apologies.
Authorities intend to seize the clothing worn by Pavitra on the day of the incident, as well as the slippers believed to have been used in the attack on Renukaswamy at her residence. These items are expected to serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation into this tragic incident.
