22 Students Score Full Marks; Exam-2 Scheduled from May 26 for Failed and Low-Scoring Candidates
Bengaluru: The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) has declared the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) results for the academic year 2024-25. This year, the overall pass percentage has risen to 66.14%, marking an 8% increase compared to last year.
Announcing the results, Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa addressed a press conference and commended students and schools for the performance improvement. Over 8.5 lakh students appeared for the exam conducted in March-April 2025.
In terms of district-wise performance, Dakshina Kannada emerged at the top, followed by Udupi in second place and Uttara Kannada in third. On the other end, Kalaburagi recorded the lowest pass percentage.
A notable highlight of the results was that 22 students secured a perfect score of 625 out of 625. For students who did not clear the exam or wish to improve their scores, the government has announced the schedule for SSLC Examination-II, which will be held from May 26 to June 2, 2025.
