“A Very Unfortunate and Painful Moment,” Says Karnataka Chief Minister in Emotional Post on Social Media

Bengaluru: In the aftermath of the devastating Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed deep sorrow and extended prayers for the safety of all passengers aboard the ill-fated flight.

Taking to the social media platform 'X', CM Siddaramaiah wrote:

“An Air India flight with over 200 passengers on board crashed in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad city. This is a very unfortunate and painful moment. Let’s pray that there is no further damage caused by this accident and that all the passengers are safe.”

The post came shortly after the tragic news broke of Air India flight AI-171 crashing into a residential zone and the UG hostel mess of BJ Medical College in Meghani Nagar, Ahmedabad. The crash has reportedly claimed the lives of all passengers on board, including former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
