Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced a new non-AC bus route – 230-D, which will commence service on July 21, 2025, with an aim to provide enhanced, affordable, and convenient transport options for daily commuters in the southwestern part of the city.

Route Details:
The newly introduced Route No. 230-D will operate between Mysore Road Bus Station and Chandrappa Circle. The bus will travel through key localities including Kengeri, Anchepalya, Hosapalya, Bettanapalya, Bheemanakuppe Cross, and Ramohalli. This route will initially be served by one bus.

Departure Timings:

  • From Mysore Road Bus Station: 10:50 AM and 2:10 PM

  • From Kengeri TTMC: 8:05 AM and 4:30 PM

  • From Chandrappa Circle: 9:00 AM, 12:15 PM, 3:35 PM, and 5:25 PM

“BMTC is committed to enhancing mobility and connectivity across Bengaluru. Route 230-D has been planned keeping in mind the needs of commuters in fast-developing suburban zones,” a BMTC spokesperson said.

The service is expected to ease travel for residents in semi-urban areas like Ramohalli and Bheemanakuppe, which currently have limited public transport options connecting them to major transit hubs.
