Mysuru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today laid the foundation stone for a new Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus terminal in Bannimantap, Mysuru. The terminal, set to become one of the largest and most modern bus stations in the state, is expected to significantly boost passenger convenience and commercial development in the region.
The new facility will be built on a 14-acre plot with a total built-up area of 4 lakh square feet, and the estimated project cost is ₹120 crore.
"This bus terminal will be a major infrastructure leap for Mysuru, easing urban transport congestion and supporting future growth in passenger volume," a KSRTC official said.
