Fifty-Year-Old Man Allegedly Rapes One-Year-Old Girl in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh

Banraich: A man allegedly committed a heinous act by raping a one-year-old girl. This disturbing incident unfolded in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police Vrinda Shukla, while addressing reporters, stated, "As soon as we received information about the incident, a case was registered against the accused under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act."

Shukla further added, "The girl has been transferred to the district hospital, where her condition is reported as stable. She has been taken to Lucknow for a comprehensive examination conducted by pediatricians."

The accused has been apprehended, and investigations are currently underway under the jurisdiction of the Nanpara police station.
