Police Take Action Against OTT Star Sonu Srinivas Gowda for Illegal Adoption
Bengaluru: An FIR has been lodged against OTT personality and former Bigg Boss contestant, Sonu Srinivas Gowda, for allegedly adopting a child unlawfully.
The complaint was filed by Byadarahalli with child welfare committee officials, leading to Sonu's arrest from her Andrahalli residence in the early hours of today. It's reported that Sonu, being of her age, is ineligible to adopt children. Despite this, she publicly declared via social media her adoption of a female child.
As a consequence, Sonu has been detained by the police, with an FIR registered against her. Legal proceedings suggest Sonu may face imprisonment in connection with the case.
