Lorry Collision Claims Life of Forest Guard, Leaves Another Injured in Anekal
Bengaluru: A forest guard tragically lost his life and another sustained severe injuries after being hit by a lorry near Raghavendra Bhawan in Anekal town. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Anekal Police Station.
The deceased, identified as Rakesh from Anekal Thammapur, succumbed to his injuries, while the injured, Vinay from Anekal, suffered a broken leg. Both Rakesh and Vinay were employed in the Anekal Forest Department.
According to reports, Rakesh and Vinay were on their way for bank-related work on a motorcycle when the collision took place near Raghavendra Bhawan. Tragically, Rakesh fell from the bike and was fatally struck by the lorry, resulting in his immediate demise.
The lorry driver fled the scene following the incident. Anekal police officials arrived at the site and initiated an investigation into the matter.
