Bengaluru on Alert as NIA Urges Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect; Rameshwaram Cafe Reopens Amid Investigation
Bengaluru : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has escalated its search for the suspected individual connected to the Rameshwaram Cafe blast. On Saturday, the agency unveiled four new photographs of the suspect.
The images depict the individual without a cap, confidently walking with a backpack, dressed in a pink T-shirt and trousers, and wearing a mask. In contrast, previous photos released by authorities showed the suspect wearing a cap and a dark-colored T-shirt.
The NIA has appealed to citizens to assist in identifying the suspect linked to the Rameswaram Cafe Blast case. They can provide information by calling 08029510900 or 8904241100, or by emailing info.blr.nia@gov.in. All information provided will be kept confidential.
In other developments, the Rameshwaram cafe branch in Brookfield resumed its service on Saturday morning after reopening on Friday. The cafe's founder dismissed any notion of business rivalry in connection with the incident.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G. Parameshwara expressed confidence in the investigating agencies' ability to arrest the suspect soon.
