Actor Darshan and 18 Others Arrested; Police Consider Summoning Leading Actor
Bengaluru: A prominent sandalwood actor is under investigation following the arrest of actor Darshan and 18 others in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. Darshan and his associates were arrested after they allegedly administered an electric shock to the victim and disposed of the body.
Prior to the murder, Darshan attended an Alcohol party at Stony Brook in RR Nagar with the leading actor. Darshan left the party abruptly due to urgent work. With the news of the murder, the Kamakshipalya police are considering whether to issue a notice to the prominent actor for questioning. Authorities aim to determine if there was any discussion about the murder during the party and are consulting senior officers on the next steps.
