From Reel Hero to Real-Life Villain: The Downfall of Darshan Thoogudeepa
Famously called the “Challenging Star,” Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been arrested in a murder case that unfolded dramatically. The actor, along with 12 others, has been sent to seven days' police custody by a city court. The victim, Renukaswamy, known to be an ardent fan of Darshan, was said to have been sending a series of lewd and defamatory texts to the actor's partner, Pavithra. In his texts, he held Pavithra responsible for Darshan’s separation from his wife, Vijayalakshmi, and said that she should stay away from him or face consequences, according to a police source. Renukaswamy was found murdered, with his body dumped in a drain in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, on June 8.
Now the main question is: Was it necessary for Darshan to commit this heinous act, being such a prominent actor? All evidence supports that he did this, such as CCTV footage showing him at the murder scene. The victim's body had burnt cigarette marks and many other injuries, indicating how inhumanely Darshan allegedly acted. He first kidnapped Renukaswamy from Chitradurga, kept him captive in a farmhouse in Bengaluru’s Rajarajeshwarinagar, tortured him, and at around 11 p.m., he died from his injuries. Renukaswamy, who used to work at a pharmacy in Chitradurga, was brutally murdered by Darshan and 12 other men.
What message does this send to society? In reel life, Darshan's films motivate viewers, but in real life, these actions make viewers despise him and his acting career. Still, Some foolish fans are supporting this act. They should be punished first. He is not "D-Boss"; he is "Cruel-Boss." Fans need to understand this. The best way is to boycott such actors from the entire film industry. Just spit on their Acting career and move on. Murder itself is a sin for which forgiveness doesn't work. When we see the victim's parents' condition, everyone can't help but shed tears. Their curses should not go in vain. Darshan should die in utter shame.
