Attack on Journalist Rakshit Gowda Sparks Investigation by Bengaluru Police
Bengaluru : An incident occurred on Saturday when actor Darshan was produced in court in connection with the Chitradurga Renuka Swamy murder case. During the proceedings, a reporter from the Indian Express, Rakshit Gowda, was assaulted by an unknown individual.
Rakshit Gowda was present at the court premises on Nripatunga Road when the attack took place. While standing with his mobile phone, he was approached, verbally abused, and physically beaten by a miscreant who fled the scene, leaving Gowda bleeding.
A complaint has been filed at the Halasur Gate Police Station, and the police have registered an NCR (Non-Cognizable Report). Authorities are actively searching for the unidentified assailant involved in the assault.
