BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Giri Nath Oversees Distribution of Essential Cemetery Equipment

Bengaluru: In a significant initiative aimed at supporting seafarers operating in dry land areas, BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Giri Nath oversaw the distribution of essential Cemetery equipment on Thursday. The symbolic distribution included these equipment, benefitting staff working within BBMP's Rudrabhoomi jurisdiction.

The distribution, organized by Prabuddha BR Ambedkar Graveyard and Vidyut Chitagara Sailors Association, took place at the corporation's headquarters. The equipment—50 Hare, 49 Picasi, and 89 Bandli units—will serve 34 graveyard  locations across the city, encompassing areas such as Hegde Nagar, Abbigere, Kodige Halli, KR Puram, Hoodi, Harichchandra Ghat, Batarayanapura, Hebbala-Kempapura, Banashankari, Yelahanka, Tindlu, Attur, and Kalpally.

DK. Harish Kumar, Special Commissioner of the Planning Department; Vikas Kishore Suralkar, Special Commissioner of the Health Division; Anthony, President of the association; General Secretary Sauri Raja; and others were present.
