Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Modi tweeted, "Happy to meet you in Vienna, Chancellor @karlnehammer. The India-Austria friendship is strong and it will get even stronger in the times to come."

Chancellor Nehammer reciprocated the sentiment, welcoming Modi to Austria and expressing eagerness for political and economic discussions during the visit. "Austria and India are friends and partners," Nehammer tweeted.

The agenda for Modi's visit includes discussions with President Alexander Van der Bellen and addressing business leaders from both countries. The visit aims to deepen ties and explore opportunities for closer cooperation on various geopolitical challenges.

Modi also appreciated Austria's musical culture, acknowledging a rendition of "Vande Mataram" performed by Austrian artists upon his arrival. The performance, led by Vijay Upadhyaya, highlighted Austria's vibrant musical heritage.

The visit marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic relations and exploring new avenues of cooperation between India and Austria.
