Strict Measures Enforced to Prevent Malpractice in Recruitment of 402 Police Sub-Inspectors

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has heightened security and implemented strict measures in response to the irregularities in the 2021 PSI (Police Sub-Inspector) exam. To prevent any malpractices, today's PSI exam will be held under camera surveillance with additional security measures such as thumb impressions and pace readers to ensure integrity.

The KEA has also set up webcasting and installed jammers to prevent unauthorized communications. Candidates must enter the exam centre 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam and will only be allowed to exit after completing both papers.

The written exam, which is crucial for the recruitment of 402 police sub-inspectors, will be conducted at 163 centres across Bengaluru, Vijayapura, Shivamogga, Kalburgi, Dharwad, and Davangere. A total of 66,990 candidates, including 21,875 in Bengaluru, are expected to appear for the exam.
