Victim Attacked by Unidentified Men, Loses Cash, Gold, and Mobile Phone
Bengaluru: Man was reportedly threatened and assaulted by two unidentified men while he was urinating near Edehalli in Dobbaspet. The attackers, riding a bike, allegedly stole cash, a gold ring, and a mobile phone from the victim.
The victim, identified as Kalandar, 32, is a resident of Kuruvel village in Urdagere, Tumakuru district. Employed at a transport company near T. Begur for the past four years, Kalandar was returning to his village after work. He had stopped his two-wheeler on the highway when the assailants approached, threatened him with a machete, and robbed him.
The robbers took Rs 20,000, a gold ring, and a mobile phone. They reportedly pushed his vehicle into a ditch before fleeing. A case has been registered at Dabaspet police station, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects.
