“In the last few days, we have all seen the strength and resilience of the country. I salute the armed forces, the military, the intelligence agencies and the scientists,” Modi said, emphasizing the collective effort that went into ensuring the success of Operation Sindoor.
“Today, I dedicate this valour, courage (of the armed forces) to every mother of our country, every sister of the country and every daughter of the country.”
For the first time since the operation, Modi elaborated on its deeper meaning, stressing that Operation Sindoor was not merely a tactical name—it represented a profound national sentiment.
“Operation Sindoor is not just a name. It is a reflection of the sentiments of crores of people of the country. Operation Sindoor is an unwavering pledge for justice,” Modi declared, reinforcing the operation's emotional and symbolic value.
Modi continued to shed light on the events of the night of May 6 and the early morning of May 7, when the Indian forces executed a highly successful strike against terrorist targets.
