The young man was undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, Jayanagar, but succumbed to his injuries today, leaving his already-struggling family plunged into irreversible grief.

"The scene at the hospital was heart-wrenching. Akshay’s father, unable to bear the loss, sat weeping on the hospital wheel beside his son’s lifeless body," reported an eyewitness.

“God doesn’t exist! He only takes and takes from us!” she cried, with trembling hands and tear-filled eyes, as family members tried to console her.
