Tumakuru: In a resounding display of strength, coordination, and unshakable team spirit, the Men’s Volleyball Team of the University College of Arts, Tumkur University has etched its name in glory by bagging the First Rank at the Inter-College Volleyball Tournament hosted by Government First Grade College (GFGC), Tumkur, on June 19 and 20.
The tournament featured fierce competition among reputed colleges, yet the Tumkur University team surged ahead with discipline, relentless training, and unity, clinching a historic win that has energised the university campus.
To honour their achievement, Principal Dr. Dakshayani G. organised a grand felicitation ceremony at the University College of Arts today, awarding all 12 student athletes with trophies, medals, and certificates for their outstanding performance.
