Breaking barriers of past schemes, Chandrababu Naidu’s Super Six promise delivers big—joint Muslim family with three mothers receives full benefits under ‘Talliki Vandanam’; public joy floods social media
Amaravati: In a landmark implementation of its poll promise, the Chandrababu Naidu-led Andhra Pradesh coalition government has rolled out the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ scheme with full force, igniting hope and celebration across households. Unlike the YSRCP’s 'Amma Vodi' scheme, which limited support to just one child per family, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has now ensured every eligible child in a household benefits, no matter how many.
In a powerful and viral example, a joint Muslim family with three mothers and 12 children in Kalkada village of Annamaya district received ₹1.56 lakh, a lump sum deposited into their account under this scheme. The TDP shared this rare documentary moment on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, showcasing how the Super Six promises are being fulfilled with tangible results.
“We couldn’t believe our eyes when the full amount was credited. This is a big relief for us—God bless this government,” said a visibly emotional mother from the family, speaking in the viral video posted by TDP.
The scheme, although launched a year after the elections, is being implemented without discrimination or restriction—a move that is winning hearts across the state.
The family's joy is being hailed as symbolic of a new era of inclusive governance. The contrast with the Amma Vodi scheme, where only one child per household received ₹13,000 under the previous YSR Congress regime, is being highlighted heavily on social media platforms—especially in Pulivendula, the stronghold of opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“This is mothers’ prayers being answered in real-time. TDP is showing what true governance looks like,” stated a caption on the viral X post.
This particular instance isn’t isolated. Several similar stories from across Andhra Pradesh are being shared on social media—videos of emotional parents, beaming children, and overflowing gratitude are generating massive traction online.
The government, despite criticism over the delayed rollout, is now pushing the narrative of "better late than never, with bigger benefits."
