Bengaluru: In a significant recognition of youth leadership in climate advocacy, SanjayaKumar Y Biradar has been officially appointed as the National Youth Lead of the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network (CYCN) India. The appointment, effective from August 3, 2025, to June 2, 2027, was formally communicated through an official letter by the CYCN India Secretariat.
The letter commends SanjayaKumar’s commitment to youth-led climate action, acknowledging his extensive grassroots work and leadership across India. As National Youth Lead, SanjayaKumar is entrusted with overseeing CYCN initiatives, promoting youth participation in climate dialogue, and fostering regional collaboration across the Commonwealth nations.
