AIDSO State Secretary, Ajay KamathStudents' Organization Decries Unscientific and Anti-Student Directive, Calls for Withdrawal |
Bengaluru: The All India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO) has issued a strong condemnation of the government's verbal directive requiring students to bring their answer sheets for the SSLC preparatory examination.
AIDSO State Secretary, Ajay Kamath, expressed grave concern over the matter, stating, "The government's insistence on students bringing their answer sheets for the SSLC preparatory examination is unscientific and anti-student."
Kamath elaborated further, emphasizing, "Students rely on these preparatory exams to familiarize themselves with exam procedures, including how to fill out answer sheets. It is the government's responsibility to provide answer sheets for such preparatory exams. Requiring students to bring their own sheets is impractical and unfair."
He continued, "By imposing such orders, especially amidst budget cuts in education, the government is abdicating its responsibility towards education. The AIDSO State Committee demands the immediate withdrawal of this directive to alleviate the burden on underprivileged students.”
