He claimed that the protesters arrived in expensive vehicles and modern tractors, implying that real farmers would not have the means for such things.”

Hegde also criticized the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for demanding more central government funds, stating that allocation of funds is not the CM's property and requires proper procedures and discussions. He expressed frustration with the current state government and CM.
