Shocking Murder Sparks Fear Among Congress Party Workers in Gadag

Gadag: During a convention of guaranteed beneficiaries, a Congress worker was brutally murdered and hanged from a tree by miscreants in a field near Dambala village, Mundaragi taluk, Gadag district.

The Deceased was identified as Sharanappa Sandigoudra, a social media activist of the Congress party, was killed in Doni village. According to police reports, the assailants intercepted his bike, chased him down, subjected him to torture, threw chilli powder in his eyes, assaulted him, and ultimately killed him. Subsequently, they hanged his body from a tree and mutilated it.

The discovery of the body hanging on the outskirts of Dambala shocked the local residents. Moreover, the Congress party's ongoing convention of guaranteed beneficiaries in Dambala has instilled panic among party workers.

Mundargi police swiftly responded to the scene, registering a case and launching an investigation into the brutal murder.
