Ramalinga Reddy Directs Disbursement of Rs. 84 Crores for KSRTC Employee Benefits

Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Chairman and Minister of Transport, Ramalinga Reddy, directed the release of Rs. 84 crores towards various employee benefits, including Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears, Leave Encashment, and Gratuity.

An amount of Rs. 24 crores has been disbursed for Leave Encashment for the year 2022-23, benefiting both current employees and those who retired during the period.

Additionally, Rs. 54 crores have been allocated for the payment of Dearness Allowance spanning multiple months from July 2022 to October 2023.

Furthermore, Rs. 6 crores have been released for Gratuity payments to retired employees from January 2024.

The Managing Director of KSRTC, V. Anbukumar, IAS, has instructed the immediate disbursement of these funds as per the directive from Ramalinga Reddy.
