Authorities Take Swift Action Based on Specific Information, Uncover Gruesome Scene

Hassan: police raided an illegal slaughterhouse in Hassan where over 60 cows were slaughtered for beef sale. During the raid, authorities rescued five cows and confiscated 10 tonnes of beef.

The raid was conducted based on specific information regarding the illegal slaughter of cows for beef. Upon arrival, authorities discovered around 60 slaughtered cows hanging for sale. Police swiftly intervened and rescued the remaining five cows.

The operation was prompted by information implicating a person named Mohammad Abdul Haq in running an illegal butcher shop. Upon spotting law enforcement, the workers at the butcher shop fled the scene.

Additionally, it was uncovered that the blood from the slaughtered cows was being drained into a nearby lake, further exacerbating environmental concerns. A case has been registered at Channarayapatna Nagar Police Station in connection with the illegal activities.
