Pig Theft Surge Alarms Farmers in Bengaluru Zone

Bengaluru: In the Soladevanahalli police station limits of Bengaluru zone, the theft of pigs has become a serious concern. Muniraju, a farmer from Chikkabyalakere village, reported that 130 pigs were stolen from his farm. Another farmer, Mahesh from Hesarghatta, lost 40 pigs to thieves.

In the past two months, more than 300 pigs have been reported stolen by farmers in the area. Despite lodging complaints with the Soladevanahalli police and providing CCTV footage of the thefts, the farmers say no action has been taken and the thieves remain at large.
