Bengaluru: State Secretary of AIDSO Karnataka, Ajay Kamath, condemned the last-minute postponement of the NEET-PG 2024 exam by the Union government.
The sudden announcement has caused significant anxiety among the 2.5 lakh candidates, many of whom are working doctors who had made extensive preparations and traveled to their exam centers. This postponement marks the fourth date change for NEET-PG 2024, resulting in immense disruption for the examinees.
Ajay Kamath criticized the Union government's handling of the examination schedule, citing a potential scam in the conduct of NEET-PG. He highlighted similar issues with other exams, including the recent cancellations and postponements of UGC-NET and CSIR-NET, amidst ongoing protests against the NEET-UG 2024 scam.
AIDSO has called for the immediate resignation of the Union Health and Education Ministers and demanded a high-level judicial inquiry into the alleged scams related to NEET-UG, UGC-NET, CSIR-UGC-NET, and NEET-PG. They insist that those involved in these irregularities be strictly punished.
