Bengaluru: Ragihalli village, located adjacent to the Bannerghatta Biological Park in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of Bangalore, has been gripped with anxiety following sightings of a significantly large crocodile near the Muthurayaswamy temple. The presence of this crocodile has raised concerns among local residents, particularly due to recent incidents involving its appearance during a wedding photoshoot and near water sources frequented by livestock.

Residents have expressed worries about potential attacks on devotees visiting the temple, which attracts numerous people from the town and nearby areas. Calls have been made to forest officials to capture the crocodile to prevent any potential harm, highlighting fears of fatalities and injuries if an attack were to occur.

However, frustrations have emerged among the public regarding what they perceive as a lack of visible action from the forest officials. A local resident voiced these concerns, reflecting the community's growing discontent over the perceived inaction in addressing the presence of the crocodile.

The situation remains tense as residents and temple visitors await decisive measures from authorities to ensure their safety and prevent any potential incidents involving the large reptile.
