ED Raids Multiple Locations in Bengaluru Amid Allegations of Financial Irregularities

Bengaluru: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at multiple locations linked to prominent businessmen in Bengaluru. The searches spanned 11 premises located in UB City, Kingfisher Tower, Malleswaram, Basaveshwaranagar, Bannerghatta Road, Hanumanthanagar, and two sites in Mysuru.

The raids were prompted by allegations of various irregularities involving builders and companies, including fraud related to site allotments, illegal financial transactions, and discrepancies in property tax payments. This action follows earlier raids by the ED at eight locations in Bengaluru, where Rs 11.5 crore in cash and incriminating documents were seized as part of a money laundering investigation.
