Bengaluru: The investigation into the Renukaswamy murder case has taken a crucial turn as the police have intensified their efforts. Sources reveal that a significant development came to light when actor Darshan's shoes, allegedly worn on the day of the murder, were discovered at the residence of his wife, Vijayalakshmi, in Hoskerehalli.
Renukaswamy was fatally attacked by several accused, including actor Darshan, in a shed located in Pattanagere. Following the incident, Darshan reportedly returned directly to his residence in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where he changed his attire and footwear before heading to Mysore. It was disclosed that a domestic worker subsequently transferred the shoes to Vijayalakshmi's residence in Hoskerehalli.
During the course of the investigation, the police conducted a thorough search at Darshan's house in Rajarajeshwari Nagar and retrieved the clothes he wore on the day of the crime. However, Darshan's shoes were conspicuously absent from the premises.
Upon interrogation, it was revealed that the domestic worker had transported the shoes to Vijayalakshmi's house. Acting swiftly on this information, the police proceeded to Vijayalakshmi's residence and seized the incriminating footwear.
The latest developments underscore the police's focused approach to unraveling the complexities surrounding Renukaswamy's tragic demise. Authorities continue to gather evidence and pursue leads diligently as the investigation progresses.
