Police Seek Fire Department's Aid to Retrieve Murder Case Mobile Phones
Bengaluru: The police have enlisted the assistance of the State Fire and Emergency Services Department in their ongoing efforts to locate mobile phones discarded by the accused in a murder case. For the past 11 days, authorities have been diligently searching for the mobile phones belonging to Renukaswamy and Raghavendra, seeking to recover crucial evidence related to the case.
The investigation has revealed that one of the accused, identified as A5, filmed the assault on Renukaswamy using Raghavendra's mobile phone at a shed in Pattanagere. Renukaswamy's phone reportedly contains additional data, including a message that allegedly provoked the assailants. On June 9, Pradosh purportedly disposed of both phones by throwing them into a canal in Sumanahalli during the early hours.
In response, the police conducted an official inspection near the canal, deploying BBMP pourakarmikas to assist in the search for the missing devices. Despite their efforts, the phones remained elusive. Consequently, authorities have now reached out to officials at the Rajajinagar fire station, seeking their expertise in locating the phones, which are integral to advancing the investigation.
