Bengaluru Police Enforce Restrictions Amidst Ongoing Murder Investigation

Bengaluru: In response to actor Darshan Thoogudeepa's custody in connection with a murder case, the Bengaluru Police enforced Section 144 within a 200-meter radius of Annapoorneshwarinagar police station on Thursday.

Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy (33), a native of Chitradurga, whose body was discovered in Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru, on June 9. The case has been officially registered at the Kamakshipalya police station, with around 10 individuals being detained in relation to the incident.

S Girish, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), confirmed that Thoogudeepa is currently undergoing interrogation by the police.

In connection with a murder case registered in Kamakshipalya Police Station limits of Bengaluru West division on 9th June, one of the actors of the Kannada film industry has been secured and he is being questioned. The details are yet to be ascertained and the matter is under investigation, stated DCP Girish during a press conference held in Bengaluru on Thursday.

 He further added, "Renukaswamy (33) from Chitradurga is the victim. Around 10 people are detained and they are being questioned.
