New BMTC Non-AC Route Enhances Commuter Connectivity
Bengaluru: In its
ongoing efforts to provide efficient, reliable, and affordable transportation
solutions, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has launched
a new route in its Non-AC service, effective from 03 July.
The newly
introduced route, designated as MF-2, operates between Baiyappanahalli Metro
station (back gate) and Ramamurthynagara Bridge. It features multiple daily
trips to accommodate varying commuter schedules. Departure times from
Baiyappanahalli Metro station start at 7:20 AM and continue throughout the day
until 8:50 PM, with corresponding return trips from Ramamurthynagara Bridge
starting at 7:40 AM and concluding at 8:30 PM.
Along its
route, the MF-2 service passes through significant locations including
B.channasandra, SBI bank, Kasturinagara 2nd stage, Benniganahalli Bridge, and
Sadanandanagara. This strategic routing aims to provide convenient access to
residential, commercial, and institutional areas, ensuring that commuters can
reach their destinations efficiently.
With a total
of 20 single trips scheduled daily, BMTC anticipates that the new route will
alleviate commuter congestion and enhance travel options for residents in the
Baiyappanahalli and Ramamurthynagara areas.
