Siddaramaiah Challenges BJP's Allegations, Vows Support for Swift Investigation

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared a firm stance against corruption during Karnataka Legislative Council's 153rd session at Vidhan Soudha on Monday. Addressing allegations regarding the Valmiki alleged scam of Valmiki Corporation, he accused the BJP of unjustly implicating his government.

They are using Goebbels' theory against us, akin to Hitler's propagandist who spread false information. The BJP's baseless allegations aim to tarnish the CM's reputation, but we deny any involvement in this scam, Siddaramaiah asserted.

Acknowledging the scam's occurrence, Siddaramaiah highlighted, It's unfounded to blame the Congress government at this stage. Let the investigation proceed; without conclusive evidence, BJP's judgments are premature.

He assured support to the investigation team, stating, "Once charges are filed, culprits won't escape. We are committed to resolving this issue swiftly.

Turning his attention to the BJP, Siddaramaiah criticized their lack of faith in the Indian Constitution and propensity for spreading hatred. Referring to 12 persons arrests linked to the Valmiki scam, including Nekkanti Nagaraj with ties to former BJP Minister Sriramulu, Siddaramaiah highlighted past BJP-linked scandals like the APMC scam during BS Yediyurappa's tenure.

Despite that, we refrained from blaming BJP then, but now they unfairly target our government, Siddaramaiah remarked. He urged patience until the case concludes, ensuring justice for the guilty parties.
