Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated Walgo Infra's 5G network and data services at the Mysore Medical College during the institution's centenary celebrations on Saturday. The launch, aimed at upgrading the college's digital infrastructure, took place in the presence of senior officials, including Walgo Infra CEO and MD No.1 Sridhar Rao, Medical Education Minister Sharan P. Prakash, and other dignitaries.
Walgo Infra, a Hyderabad-based technology company, introduced its 5G services to the Mysore Medical College campus, enhancing connectivity for students, staff, and patients. This upgrade is expected to benefit both educational and healthcare services at the institution.
CEO Sridhar Rao expressed his support for the centenary event, highlighting the significance of integrating advanced technology into the college's framework to foster educational growth and research.
The Mysore Medical College, a historic institution, now stands to improve its digital capabilities with this development. Other notable attendees included Sujatha Rathod, Director of Medical Education, Dr. K.R. Dakshayani, Dean of Mysore Medical College, along with ministers and local officials.
