Inaugural Edition Showcases Advancements in Surface Coating Technology
Bengaluru: The inaugural edition of SURFACEXP 2024, organized by Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) - Bangalore North, was officially launched on Friday at Gate Number 6, Grand Castle, Palace Grounds. The event was inaugurated by Sri Viplav J G, Director and CEO of Werner Finley, and Sri Rajesh T Ghashi, Managing Director of Chiron Indian Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. The expo will be open to visitors from September 26 to 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year's exhibition focuses on showcasing the latest advancements in surface coating technology and has attracted key stakeholders from industries such as defense, aeronautics, and public sector undertakings (PSUs). Sri Sachin Sabnis, President of Laghu Udyog Bharathi - Karnataka, attended the event as the guest of honor, while Sri K B Kotresh, retired Regional Officer of KSPCB, Davanagere, was a special invitee.
Sanjay P. Bhat, President of LUB - Bangalore North, highlighted the significance of the expo in fostering collaboration and innovation within the surface coating industry. He stated, "SURFACEXP 2024 offers an essential platform for professionals to explore the latest technologies and products, while promoting networking, collaboration, and growth in this rapidly evolving sector."
The event will conclude on September 28, with SuShri Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of MSME, gracing the valedictory function. Her presence will mark a significant close to this landmark event, reinforcing SURFACEXP 2024 as a key annual event for innovation and collaboration within the surface coating industry.
