SSLC Exam-2 Students Can Travel Free on Ordinary BMTC Buses from May 26 to June 2 by Showing Hall Ticket; Extra Trips and Request Stops Near Exam Centres Arranged
Bengaluru: In a student-friendly move, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced free travel for SSLC Exam-2 students in its ordinary bus services across the city. The initiative will be effective during the examination period from May 26, 2025, to June 2, 2025.
“Students appearing for SSLC Exam-2 can avail free travel from their residence to their examination centers by simply producing their exam hall ticket,”
said a BMTC official, reaffirming the corporation's commitment to supporting the student community.

Continued Support for Students
BMTC has a long-standing tradition of extending support to students. Apart from this special initiative, the corporation has also been issuing student concessional passes for school and college commuters throughout the academic year.

Parents and Students Encouraged to Plan Ahead
Students and parents are advised to carry the hall ticket at all times while boarding the bus and to reach the exam centres well ahead of time. BMTC has also stated that extra trips may be deployed in high-demand areas, and flexible request stops will be operational near major exam centres to prevent last-minute hassles.
