Pathankot, Jammu Airport Among Targets as Indian Forces Crush Infiltration Attempt Using World-Class Missile Defense
Jammu: In a daring and aggressive move, Pakistan launched a massive drone attack targeting critical Indian locations, including Pathankot Air Base and Jammu Airport, sparking high alert across the border.
According to defense sources, eight missiles were launched from across the border, targeting Jammu Civil Airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and adjacent civilian zones. However, the Indian Army swiftly neutralized the threat using the advanced S-400 anti-missile defense system, bringing down Pakistan’s F-16 and JF-17 drones mid-air before they could cause any damage.
The attempted infiltration appears to be a coordinated escalation by Pakistan amid rising tensions in the region. Security agencies remain on alert, conducting intensive surveillance and combing operations in border areas to thwart any further provocations.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan’s border districts have been issued a precautionary alert. Power outages are scheduled after 9 PM as part of strategic security measures.
