Residents in Malleshwaram, Yeshwanthpur, and nearby areas to face power cut from 10 AM to 4 PM on July 26
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has announced a planned power outage on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in several parts of Bengaluru due to emergency maintenance work at the 66/11 IISC Substation.
The maintenance activity will be carried out from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM, during which electricity supply will be disrupted in multiple localities in the northern part of the city.
“This shutdown is necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure in the affected areas,” KPTCL said in an internal communication.

Residents Urged to Plan Ahead
KPTCL has advised residents and commercial establishments in the affected regions to take necessary precautions and complete important electrical work ahead of the outage window.
“We regret the inconvenience and appreciate public cooperation as we carry out critical infrastructure upgrades,” said a senior KPTCL official.
